We show our stakeholders that our organisation is robust, safe and risk-aware. And that we have our processes in order. To this end, we use reports, process descriptions and certifications. Not surprisingly, Fitch rates Stater's mortgage services in the Netherlands with the highest rating in Europe: RPS1-,

The DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation) obliges Stater to take appropriate measures to protect information. Our customers also want us to demonstrably manage and secure their information properly. We take this very seriously.

Supervision of Stater

As a financial institution, Stater works with money and data from lenders, intermediaries and customers. Good supervision of this is essential. Stater's main market regulators are:

The AFM is responsible for the supervision of conduct in the financial markets. The AFM focuses mainly on the services and products offered to customers. The customers of Stater who market consumer mortgages are also subject to supervision by the AFM. They, too, impose requirements on Stater.

Dutch Personal Data Authority

The protection of personal data is a fundamental right for everyone. The Netherlands Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or AP) is the independent supervisory body in the Netherlands that monitors this fundamental right. And ensures that companies and organisations comply with privacy legislation.
